Softball Planner app for iPhone and iPad

Softball Planner is the essential tool for fine tuning your softball teams defensive lineup as well as your batting rotation.

Modes:

Edit Lineup - Set up your defensive lineups. Drag and drop players into the different positions of the infield and outfield. Double click on a player to substitute another player from the bench. Teams can be setup to have either 3 or 4 outfielders depending on the rules of the league you plan in. Lineups can be saved and loaded to help you compare lineups used in previous games.

Edit Roster - Players can be customized with names, gender, primary and secondary skills as well as pictures. These settings will be reflected on the players icons to better assist you in setting up your lineup and batting rotations.

Batting Rotations - Flip through your teams batting rotation using the backward and forward buttons. This is a great way to make sure you have your big hitters lined up correctly or simply to help keep track of the games rotation. Rotations can be saved and loaded to help you compare rotations used for different games.

Games - Create your teams schedule by adding all of your games to this section. Make sure to go back and set the game scores so you can check back at how well youre doing during the season.

Notes - Write notes about your team, your upcoming opponents or whatever might be useful for you and your team.

Note: This app was created based on my experience in recreational leagues. The Boy/Girl rotation feature allows co-ed teams with strict Boy-Girl rotation rules to easily manage their rotation. Allowing teams to use 3 or 4 outfielders helps you set up your team based on different league rules.

While this app was developed with Softball in mind, I have also found it very useful for Baseball and Kickball leagues.
